The Truman baseball team caught fire over the last week winning 5 of their last 7 games. The recent hot spell has pushed them back over .500 after a little midseason slump. The bats have woken up, and they’ve found a big boost from freshman pitcher Brandon Lindle who might have set a school record with 11 strikeouts in a single game (this is still unconfirmed). He also threw a no-hitter. The good pitching combined with an offensive resurgence and more focus in the field have the Patriots playing their best ball heading into the business end of the season. We caught up with a couple of the players to discuss the recent hot streak and what to expect going forward.
