The girls’ basketball team will play for a district title this Thursday at Liberty. The girls’ began the tournament as the four seed in the district. They smashed both the five seed and top seeded North Liberty by 20-plus points in their first two district games. Now, they sit one game away from going from the district’s fourth seed to a berth in sectionals. We talked with a couple girls’ basketball players today about their game this Friday.
