With Super Bowl 55 right around the corner, we have the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers will be the first team to play in the Super Bowl at home stadium, with limited seating due to Covid-19. The Chiefs and Buccaneers faced off earlier in the season with the Chiefs winning 27-24. The Weeknd and possibly Miley Cyrus will be performing at the 2021 Super Bowl halftime show. You can watch the Super Bowl on CBS at 5:30pm, Sunday February 7, 2021. The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites to win the Lombardi Trophy over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Kansas City Chiefs are returning to the Super Bowl after winning last year’s game against the San Francisco 49er’s. With the Chiefs traveling to this year’s game, they plan to win to become back to back champions with the last time being in 2003 and 2004 when the New England Patriots won. This is going to be a very interesting game because Tom Brady is the quarterback for the Buccaneers, and Patrick Mahomes is the quarterback for the Chiefs, going head-to-head in a game that breaks the tied record that they have against each other. Tom Brady was the quarterback for the New England Patriots for 20 seasons and was the one who helped the Patriots win back-to-back Super Bowls in 2003 and 2004. This is the first season Brady has played with the Buccaneers, and he’s already led them to the Super Bowl.
This game will also feature a high powered defense in the Buccaneers vs. a high powered offense in the Chiefs. The Buccaneers are ranked sixth in overall defense while the Chiefs are ranked first in overall offense. My predictions for this game is that it is going to be a much closer game than most people think and it will most likely come down to the final minutes. The winner will win by one score whether that is a field goal or a touchdown.
