The eight-episode documentary series called “Road to the Cup” will premier next Tuesday, November 26th. The first four episodes will be released this month and next month. The final four episodes will be released in late April.

The “Road to the Cup” takes a deep dive into Truman athletics. We talk with student athletes about their accomplishments, their highs and lows, and what it means to take part in high school sports. The first four episodes tackle much of the fall sports season. Some things though were saved for the final four episodes as there are fewer winter sports than fall sports.

We do see this as a pilot project for the program and hope it is successful enough to allow us to expand our series and take a closer, deeper look at other parts of student life in the years to come.
