As we begin our first full week of school, be aware of weather that may affect your plans. Starting off the week fairly dry, Monday and Tuesday will be sunny with a few scattered clouds throughout. Temperatures will stay high, so watch for heat advisories and stay hydrated. The jet-stream will connect with warm, humid air from the south. As a result, the atmosphere may become unstable leading to possible storms all day Wednesday and Thursday morning. This rainfall should cool down the area for the closing of the week.
What to watch for:
Mon-Wed: high heat index
Jet stream disturbance
Rain that bring down temperatures
