On Wednesday Truman’s track team competed in City Finals. They finished second overall in the girls and boys competitions. It was also a really good night for some individuals. Stacy Briggs took first place in the mile, the two mile, and the 800 meter. She also anchored the 4×800 team to a win. Kennedy Rucker won both the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles in dominant fashion. On the boys side of things Chris Rhodes won the triple jump and the 4×200 meter relay team took first place. Brad Browning placed second in both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. Hunter Donelson took second in the 800. And Jamel Norton finished third in the 400. The team will compete at the KU Relays today.
