Vividly shining against the darkness that floods the gym, lanterns displaying support or remembrance of those affected by cancer line the gym. The luminary ceremony serves as tradition for the Relay for Life of the Jackson County Youth held each year at Truman High School, as it is a large part to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Beginning tomorrow, March 5th, these lanterns will be on sale each Wednesday during lunch for $10 each. Such a simple purchase can help make monumental strides towards a cure!
